I have been thinking for weeks about how I could make better content for people following me while keeping the progress in my journey in the hockey analytics world.
After doing an analysis of my account and my brand, I have identified few problems:
Not enough focus in one topic
Too much importance given to people’s opinion (especially haters)
No regularity
No identity
Also, I wanted to address few other problems that were bothering me:
Hockey media in general lacks of high-end quality content. Most articles today lack of work of originality and research. What we see a lot is medias just rephrasing what other outlets say on their own websites. Articles are now short, clickbait, and can be summarized in one sentence. We have lost quality journalism for outlets looking for short term engagement and clicks. Need more investigative journalism. Need medias to answer questions.
Habs media generally lacks of objectivity and constructive criticism about the team.
Habs lack of analytics content.
To solve those problems, I am creating HabsBrain.
HabsBrain is a platform of Hockey Analysis with a focus on the Montreal Canadiens.

The goal is to have a weekly newsletter where I write write an article answering your questions (and mines) about the Canadiens using Hockey (video and data) analysis.
I am open for collaborations on different projects. Feel free to reach out to me if you have an idea of article you want me to write about and never hesitate to give me feedback on the content I post, your opinion is important to me.
Enjoy your read and long live to HabsBrain!
I think you’ll be a great read ! When will it start ?
